SHAMANISM
Shamanism is a spiritual practice of connecting with one’s spirit guides and helpers to obtain guidance, personal growth, self healing, and the healing of others in service to their community. For me, one of the most accurate definitions of a shaman’s role is by the Romanian historian, Marceau Eliade. He writes...
“Shamans are intermediaries or messengers between the human world and the spirit world. Shamans are said to treat ailments and illnesses by mending the soul. Alleviating traumas affecting the soul or spirit are believed to restore the physical body of the individual to balance and wholeness.”

Every physical illness has a spiritual component. By treating that spiritual illness the practitioner is able to affect the physical body thereby bringing relief and healing. I connect with my spirit guides and allow the, to use me as the vehicle for their healing power.
I have been trained in the following methods: Sound Healing, Spiritual Empowerment, Extraction, Soul Retrieval, and Divination. I am, however, never the one to choose which modality to use on a person asking for healing. The spirits decide. It is my job to listen and follow their instructions. One or a combination of any of these methods could be involved in a single session.
EXTRACTION is exactly what the word implies. It is the job of the shamanic practitioner to find the illness inside the client and remove it. The spirit intrusions appear in a variety of forms, all of them unnatural. Drums can also be used as an extraction tool.
EMPOWERMENT is needed when a client has lost some or all of their power. This can happen because of codependency or other forms of emotional abuse. It can manifest in chronic disease, depression, or having an unusually long period of bad luck.
SOUL RETRIEVAL - Illness, addiction, physical or emotional trauma, are some of the reasons soul loss occurs. It is the job of the practitioner to find these soul, pieces and return them to the person seeking help, giving them balance, wholeness, and the ability to move forward in their lives. Some signs of soul loss can be depression, anxiety, a feeling of disconnection, or hopelessness.
